A grassroots-led public art & engagement initiative

Utah Wildlife Walls seeks to celebrate Utah's wildlife diversity and heritage by installing at least one monumental wildlife mural in each of Utah’s 29 counties.

How it Started...

Utah Wildlife Walls is a collaboration between Utah artist Chris Peterson, writer Brett Prettyman and the Utah Wildlife Federation. It began in 2022 with the installation of a 120 foot Bonneville cutthroat trout mural and the first annual Bonnie Ball Street Festival in Salt Lake City. In 2023, we installed three new walls in Midvale, Vernal and Heber....

How it's going!

With four walls complete at the close of 2023, we are excited for all of the projects we have in the works for 2024. We are exploring many more opportunities with interested nonprofit partners, property owners, and local governments.
